Miss you Peter sorry we didn't all go threw wagging school that day I remember he loved his music having fun and a good laugh.i still remember the day whole school had assembly and we were told .I feel upset that after more than 45years we are still no closer to knowing who murdered Peter stogneff.

I remember him from High school, we were in the same classes. He was a nice boy. I still feel sick to the stomach hearing about what happened. I hope justice prevails for Peter and the other victims of this horrendous crime

We used to go camping early 80s at Theiles Sandbar in Loxton South Australia with the Stogneffs. The Russians get together.

Knew the whole family back then but as the years went past, both families drifted apart. Great memories - I’d be around 11-12 years of age and almost 14 when Peter disappeared tragically.

Years pass by and often think of the Stogneff family.

we had split classes back then, and i remember being surprised to see some at school that day and more surprised to not see Peter, the horror that followed none of us could believe. The blame lays squarely with "the Family" no one else. Where Peter was, so was his guitar, he loved that thing and he had talent. I remember being told his Mum would set a plate at the table for him every night, and kept his room as he left it, hoping beyond hope he would walk back in, I dont know how she coped, or the rest of his family and close friends. I wasnt part of his close group of friends, i only knew him as we shared classes but he was a good lad, cheeky, full of fun. The ripples of the tragedy are still felt today, the injustice, the heartbreak, the utter shock that it happened at all, back then at 14 most of us didn't know these types of people existed. Id like to see everyone involved brought to justice, the anger at what they did to so many young boys lives on. 😢

Peter Was One of my best friends miss him so much.. never never forgotten him beautiful personality smile Heart..

On 22 June 1982, a farmer found remains on land near Middle Beach Road, Two Wells, about 50 kilometres north of Adelaide. He contacted police the following morning. The remains were identified as Peter’s.

Police believe Peter’s murder is linked to the cases known as the Family Murders. Crime Stoppers’ appeal of 27 August 2021 lists up to $1,000,000 for information leading to a conviction. Contact Crime Stoppers for current reward conditions.
